Do Inhalers Count As Liquids On Planes



Note that while you are not required to remove prescription medicines that are liquids, gels or aerosols from your bag (including inhalers, which are aerosols), and while they do not have to comply to the 3-1-1 rule, I recommend taking them out anyways to keep things quick. – You must take no more than 100ml of any liquid on a flight – Liquids must be placed into individual 100ml containers – larger containers, even if only partly full, are not usually accepted at security – All 100ml containers must fit into a clear, plastic bag no bigger than 20cm x 20cm – Only one plastic bag is allowed per passenger You’re allowed to carry the following in your hand luggage: essential medicines of more than 100ml, including liquid dietary foodstuffs and inhalers medical equipment, if it’s essential for your...
